Any coaching or fitness professional interested in working with developing athletes must fully understand one simple fact first:
Children are NOT simply “little adults.” Young athletes are fundamentally different in a multitude of respects than their more mature counterparts. Youth physical development training should not be approached with a “one size fits all” mentality. Developing neurological, skeletal, muscular, and endocrine systems are in a constant state of change.
